Tips For Using Swarovski Crystal Beads To Accessorise Your Spring Outfit For The Royal Wedding
Want to bring some glitter and sparkle to your spring outfit for the royal wedding? Use Swarovski crystal beads to embellish several outfit elements to finish and take your look to the next level. Swarovski crystal beads are fabulous as they come is an endless array of colours, finishes and shapes.
Swarovski crystal beads are great for jewellery making as they can be applied in a variety of ways. You will want to be sure to find a bead size chart so you are more educated in the size you will need for a particular project. The most common size of Swarovski crystals beads is 3mm or 4mm but of course there are multiple sizes available. Once you find the size you need, you can gather the additional supplies. If you are looking to use Swarovski beads on clothes, you will need a sewing needle and strong sewing thread. I would recommend matching the sewing thread to the colour of the clothing, not necessarily the colour of the Swarovski crystal beads. One fun idea is adding a beaded fringe to a pair of capri pants or by accenting a floral print shirt with stitched on Swarovski beads. You can stitch on Swarovski crystals beads on the outline of the petals to create dimension and flair.
Accessories are meant to be bold and fun, not dull and drabby. Splurge on accessories like shoes and bags by embellishing them with Swarovski crystal beads. For shoes you can thread Swarovski crystal beads on the shoe laces for an extra pop of colour. Or you could use E6000 glue to put a few on the side of the sole. For some extra bling, you can also use glue and Swarovski crystal beads to embellish the heel of your favourite pumps. Just be sure that the Swarovski crystal beads have a relatively flat back so they stay adhered.
For bags, using Swarovski crystal beads, you can easily sew on beads in the shape of a flower or butterfly etc. to add a spring theme to your wardrobe. Alternatively, you could add a fringe to the edge of the bag or embellish the handle with beads. You may also consider using Swarovski crystal beads to create a keychain for your key ring.
Hair pieces using Swarovski crystals have become increasingly popular as brides are using them for both themselves and their bridesmaids. If you take layers of fabric like organza and chiffon in the shapes of flowers, you can layer them on top of one another, sew the middles together with Swarovski crystal beads, attach them to a hair clip and you will have a gorgeous hair piece for your spring outfit. You can also take crafting wire and Swarovski crystal beads to wrap around a bobby pin.
