Can a colored tattoo be turned into a black a gray tattoo?
I have a colorful tattoo I’m having redone this weekend. What’s the likelyhood that my tattoo artist will be able to cover the colors with black and gray (probably leaving some color showing through)? I’m of course going to talk to her about this, but I figured I’d ask on here in case anyone has experience with this. =]
Of course I am unable to view your tattoo but the complete concept of a black and gray tattoo is similar to black and “white” photography or the old black and “white” tattoos.
The gray shading creates depth, illusion of various colors, and highlights. This will be someone defeated in the presence of actual color. I am sure your artist will be able to tell you what is possible with your tattoo.
