ARE YOU AN MTI? CAP Cadet First Sergeant asking for help with Air Force procedure.?
What is the proper procedure for forming a flight to participate in stationary PT? (stationary exercises, stretches etc.) The current procedure used by my squadron is as follows.
NCO Commands “FALL IN”
NCO Commands “Open Ranks HARCH”
NCO Commands “Double Arm Interval MOVE”
NCO Commands “Redup HUNT”
PT commences
Recently an AFROTC cadet mentioned that we are not conducting our PT formation properly, and suggests that after Open Ranks we should call a Half Right Face and continue PT from there.
What do the TIs have to say?
im not a TI but i was in CAP and made 2lt. im now a cop in the AF in our PT we do the same as you,when we get to the first exercise that we have to assume the push up position we have the 2nd and 4th element take 2 steps to the right. also you are a “cadet” dont get bent out of shape if pple tell you that something is wrong,you are just training and having a good time. also have fun, dont stress out about anything thatha hapends in CAP. if you ever get in the military you will have plenty of stuff to stress out about. good luck and if you or anyone else in CAP has any qustions just ask.
