Enamel Pewter
What is the difference between standard and enameled pewter?
Im looking at these two belt buckles and i know there is some design differences but what does it mean when one is standard pewter and the other is enameled pewter?

One is colored, the other is all silver colored. I assume it means the dark background areas are black. Both of these are enameled per the description. Since pewter melts at about 750F, http://www.warehamforge.ca/pewter.html far below the melting point of glass based enamels, I would say that the enamel is baked paint like on cars, or perhaps just applied paint.
