My 1999 Plymouth Voyager ac only blows warm air?
A little over a month ago my AC started blowning only warm air. My husband tried to recharge it but the gauge went to the “problem” zone on the gauge. So he climbed up under the van to check the compressor. He said the belt looks good and it’s spinning. You can hear it kick on. And the clutch is engaging. Next he sprayed out the condensor. Still not working. Now that it’s stop working everytime you turn on the van you hear a loud sound like the flaps in the vents are opening and closing. The heat works fine. But the a/c is like it’s dead. Anyone have any ideas. It’s already in the high 90s here and I have two toddlers.
It’s time to let the dealer or a mechanic check out the system, and (I suspect) recharge it properly.
Good luck – summer without a/c is MISERABLE.
