How to roller set relaxer hair?
Hello everyone. I used to go to the beauty salon once every 2 week to have my hair wash and set, but now I only go to have my hair relaxer. In the mean time I wash and set my hair but for some reason when I take the roller out is not coming out the I want nice and silk. I need help? This is what I do and what I used: wash my hair with Doo Gro Tingling Growth shampoo rinse it out then i use Deep Down Intense Penetrating Conditioner cover it with a plastic cap leave for 5 minutes or so then rinse it out completly. Comb it out with a wide tooth comb use a Foaming wrap lotion (Motions) Finally roll my hair and sit under the dryer for 45 minutes or sometimes a little bit longer ( I have a home dryer one of those that are a cap that adjust to your head) Then take the roller out comb my hair oit my scalp with DOO GRO Mega Thick Growth Oil
and then wrap it with a few pins and tie it down with a silk scraf.
It takes practice, practice, practice. My mom roller sets my hair and she’s been roller setting her hair for…over 20 years!! But when I roller set my hair, when I take the rollers out, it comes out fuzzy, flat, and ugly. Now I’m getting better, but keep practicing. I use my medicine cabinet mirror b/c I can see the back of my hair.
