What is the thing that Oliver Reed in “Gladiator” is playing with in the movie?
Oliver Reed played the slave trader that bought Maximus to fight as a gladiator for him. There are several instances in the movie where Reed is seen fidgeting with some kind of pendant. My father told me that the pendant is some kind of middle eastern/eastern thing used to occupy people who need to play with something in their hands. Anyone know what it is?
I dunno, but I met him when I was 15. He was coming out of the movie ‘Tommy’ with a beautiful blond as I was walking in (he was in that movie). I got his autograph.
This happened when we were visiting my step-dad’s mom in Beverly Hills in 1975.
