Ptah Atum
is it “evolution of the mind” that we keep changing the concept of God to our liking?
i mean, what was wrong with Thor, Zeus, Nemesis, Aether, Apollo, Aphrodite, Ares, Hera, Huitzilopochtli, Jóhonaa’éí, Atum, Ra, Ptah, etc, etc, etc that they didn’t make it to be our current God ?
and more importantly: who will we chose to be our next God in a few generations?
Nothing was wrong with them exactly (well, Huitzilopochtli may have been just a bit bloodthirsty), but they suffered the fate of all deities: They were replaced.
As for the current guy, I think he/she/it will be replaced by the Almighty Sign of the Dollar.
