what is the best way to take a ordinary square scarf and make it into a bandana?
i have a one, and i turn it into a triangle and go from there. what is a better way?
That’s the best way because the triangle gives you the greatest length so you can tie it more easily around your forehead.
Once you make the initial diagonal fold, you can either just roll it up lengthwise or you can continue to fold it in half lengthwise until it’s the width you want.
You can also just pull the two opposite corners around your head, leaving most of the scarf free. Once tied, you can then pull the rest of the scarf over your head and tuck it into the back to cover and protect your hair to keep it from flying away or getting dirty or sun damaged.
