Silknovelty Tie

How you project yourself is very important. Respect is something that is earned and not demanded. If you want people to respect you, whether you are a man or a woman, it is important to have to maintain a decent appearance. People criticize you depending on how you look. While inner beauty is of utmost importance, being beautiful on the outside is also required since most people would judge you based from your looks.

Neckties are just one of the many accessories that you can wear if you want to look decent enough for other people. A corporate suit worn with the proper may look more gorgeous and professional. A necktie is usually a long piece of cloth that men (and women) wear around the neck. It rests under the shirt collar and is knotted at the throat. Neckties have been, for decades, a part of every man’s office wardrobe.

Neckties usually come in standard sizes but there are some that are available in longer sizes. They come in different kinds, colors and design which can suit every man’s taste or personality. Silk ties, obviously from cocoons of silkworms, are classy and elegant. They can be a bit expensive too. Polyester neckties comes in different types: polyester, woven polyester, and polyester satin. They are less cheaper than silk but can be also as sophisticated. Fashion neckties are mostly printed. They have specific patterns or design that makes them more chic and stylish whereas plain ties are commonly made of polyester of silk which is made with a single color. Most ties of this kind are glossy satin, textured, woven silk and smooth silk. Novelty ties contain different themes-sports, landscapes, prominent people, even popular cartoon characters like Spongebob, Bugs Bunny and the rest of the Looney Tunes gang!

Remember though that a necktie should have the perfect knot for it to look fabulous. Here are a couple of steps that could help you achieve your perfect knot:

1. If you’re not very familiar about tying your necktie, it is important that you face the mirror. Your collar should be up and your shirt buttoned up till the top. Wrap the tie around your neck. If you’re right-handed, the thick end of the tie should be on your right, and vice versa.

2. Look for the seam on the face of the narrow end of the tie. The thick end has a seam on it as well. Put the thick end of the tie over the narrow end, so that they overlap each other on the seam.

3. Pull the thick end over the narrow end of your tie. Create a knot by tying it around and putting it over the narrow end again. Repeat the third step but this time, do it behind the knot.

4. Pull the thick end down through the knot and slide the narrow end.

Make sure that you choose the right length of your tie. The tip of the thick end should touch your belt buckle. Also ensure that your tie is straight and does knot curve. A fabulous knot in a gorgeous tie can make you all the more elegant and sophisticated although you’re wearing your usual office suit.
