heel stretch:
every day, morning and night, stretch your hamstrings on the floor in a half-straddle. stretch your right and left splits. after a couple weeks of good stretching, your heel stretch will be gorgeous!
toe touch:
to make it wider, sit on the floor in a straddle position with legs out as far as they’ll go without pain. point your toes and keep your knees facing backward, and lean forward to the middle of your legs. hold for 20 seconds.
to get your legs up higher in mid-air, sit on the floor in the same position, with knees rolled back & toes pointed. place your hands on the floor directly in front of you, and keeping your hips rolled under, lift your legs up and down (just a few inches; DON’T touch the ground!). start with 3 sets of 10, and as you get stronger, move up to sets of 15 and 20.
