The History and Market of Saltwater Sandals
Hoy Shoe Company started saltwater sandals in the 1940s and has since gained steady popularity. It now comes in a wide array of colors and designs, and are used in different occasions.

Tips on Saltwater Sandals
When using a pair of new saltwater sandals, it is best to loosen it up, particularly with the straps. You can do this by placing your thumbs inside its straps and pull them out towards the sides. This way, the interlocking leather straps are stretched. After this, hold your sandal in your palms and start squeezing the sides together, cupping the inside section of the sandal. This way, the straps are flexed and pre-stretched.
Saltwater sandals only seem too tight when it’s new. It may need a short “break-in” period. After some time, it will conform to your foot.
